With our peer mentor program, our goal is to pair younger or newly diagnosed children with older or more experienced peers for support and learning about how to manage their own food allergies.
If you are interested in participating in the mentor program and your child could be paired with another child either as a mentor or mentee, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with some details about your child (age, food allergies, interest in being a mentor and/or mentee, preference on gender of mentor/mentee pair, any other helpful information). If we are able to identify a suitable mentor/mentee who can be paired with your child (based on age and interest), we will provide you with the contact information for the other family. It will then be up to you (and the other family) to schedule some adult-supervised time for the children to meet.
